Description

**I am extremely frustrated with dA and its anal retentive garbage in relation to posting works of literature.

Having to painstakingly go through 10 pages and re-do all the paragraph breaks, find every italicized word and code each one separately is too much. All this after 8+ hours spent writing each chapter and editing them!

It got to the point that I dreaded having to post this story, and that makes no sense since it is written for my friends to enjoy it.

It is now submitted as a PDF file for you to download (button is to the right, big one with the green downward arrow), which is the only way the formatting will stay intact.

PDF is Adobe Reader, and it is a free download

PLEASE go get it if you don't have it. This story is SO worth it. I am loving the adventure and loving writing and sharing it but this is the only way I can keep doing it.**

My eternal and loving thanks to ~Faelahn for writing Asimendir's battle scene. I am not a warrior type and without his support this chapter would not have been as exciting as it is.

Asimendir, Gil'Darrin and Zakrid are © to ~Faelahn
Tarienne, Ishariel © to me.

(Fomi lives and has not left this story! ;) - just had to re-read parts again)

So, I might have mentioned this before, but I like how Gil'Darrin is not the cardboard cutout "wise and calm elf, yadda yadda" we see in almost each single Tolkien elf. But he's still my favourite, and the black bean description at the beginning was a nice touch.
(It came to me only now - is Mordulin somewhat named after Morrigan, or is the beginning just a coincidence?) And sorry to say that, but Tarienne is seriously starting to annoy me - then again, I wasn't waiting for 2000 years only to be sent away to bond with beings I am not particularly fond of, so maybe it's just me.
Asimendir's battle scene was great, really, I must commend ~Faelahn! I liked the references to the brigands as "Satchel" and "Red Tie", and, sorry for the out-of-place thoughts: but Asimendir with his hair tied back looked just awesome in my imagination. (I still prefer that funny Gil'Darrin, though) And cliffhanger ending! I can't read more now, but promise to try and keep up with this story.
