The Forgotten City Adventure by Aeltari The Forgotten City Adventure by Aeltari
You wanted to see us in an Indiana Jones adventure, so here you go! The scale in my artwork is totally wrong! Im a whopping 5' to Hugo's 6'2" but hells this is fantasy right?

"Hugo! Look!" Tari exclaimed, grabbing him by the shoulder.

Holding the torch up high, Hugo turned from his examination of the room.

"What is it then, love?" he asked absently, still gazing around.

She pointed excitedly at the stone door several feet before them, the ground littered with rubble, broken pottery and several golden amphorae. Hugo looked puzzled. Tari never got excited about gold...heaven knew they had seen enough of it already.

She grabbed his hand and pulled him down the short flight of stone steps. Wiping away the dirt, dust and cobwebs from the massive stone door, she gave another exclamation of excitement.

"This is the symbol in the book! We are definitely on the right track!"

"Are you sure?" he squinted at it a moment, trying to remember. "Here, hold the torch duckie, while I look through the book."

Tari held it up as Hugo went carefully through the pages of the small old leather bound volume. He struggled through the words on the pages written in latin, letting each word settle in as he spoke them.

As the meaning of the symbol on the door became clear, Tari's eyes widened. Hugo looked up at her over the book, his astonished blue eyes meeting her orange ones.

"The Forgotten City!" she breathed as they both looked at the door.

In their zeal to clear the dirt and webbing away from the rest of the symbols they didn't feel the cold chill enter the room, nor see the dark shadow slither around the corner...
With loving thanks to:

OOOh, slithering!!! Will there be a sequel? XD

This made me smile :) -- and Hugo could have been Indiana Jones, although he'd be more refined and certainly would not allow anyone to call him "Indy."

LOL he is awesome, I loves him! I love Harrison too, but the voices on my poll said they wanted an Indy adventure so Hugo got the job! LOL the slithering...sometimes a little angst in the story is needed but they arent really stories just things to churn my viewers imaginations. I guess they find the forgotten city and live there forever hehe.

Ha, this could so be a movie! Better than the last Indiana Jones flick too. Beautifully done, and I love the accompanying story. Damned cliffhangers.

What, even *more* fun than just the picture? You're spoiling us, truly. Whahahaha... Yes, men will do that teasing bit.
