In the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, where I live, there is a town called Batoche. It was the scene of a major rebellion between the government and the Metis people in 1885 led by Louis Riel and Gabriel Dumont.
There is a little graveyard there which was used back then but is still in use today. On my visit I came upon a row of little graves, belonging to children. On March 5, 1959, a fire swept through the Hrycuik home killing all 6 precious babies and their baby sitter. Where were mom and dad? Look closely at the information on the children, let your imagination go, and feel your heart break.

TY! I cant imagine their parents surviving such a devastating loss. Apparently the mother still lives in the area. I just felt like immortalizing those precious children so no one ever forgets them.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
